Housekeeping Rules and Safety
Thank You for your Respect and Care 🐈⬛
As I am a home-based business and live in a small neighbourhood I just have a few housekeeping rules to respect my Neighbours and my Home...
No pee or poo anywhere on the left side of my home - front or back (gate entry side of home) or on neighbours lawns "please".... if urgency calls please go out the front of our hedge near the tree stump, poo bags provided..
no biters or excessive barkers.. 🐕
Parking is available for you in my driveway, as this ensures a happy neighbourhood 😊
I suggest to not over feed your furbaby the night before or anything the day of their grooming visit, for obvious reasons.
A little walk just before a groom, if able, can also be beneficial for a calm relaxing time...and will ensure they go to the toilet prior to their Groom.
Please ensure to bring your furbaby on a secure leash.. arrive at the booked appointment time as there are often clients to follow..
Please would you be able to give me a Y/N reply on all text communications to confirm your appointments.
Thank you and I look forward to seeing you at your next visit.. 🐾
Note... my pricing structure may change a little at any time, without notice....
TERMS & CONDITIONS
Health or Medical Problems:
Occasionally, grooming can expose a hidden medical problem or aggravate a current one. This can occur during or after grooming. Please make sure to alert us of any current or past issues so that we may keep an eye out for them.
Accidents:
Although accidents are very rare, there is a risk when dealing with animals. Grooming equipment is sharp, and although we use extreme caution and care in all situations, possible problems could occur including cuts, nicks, scratches, quicking of nails, etc. In most cases this can happen when an animal is wiggling or moving around. Your pet's safety and comfort is our number one priority. In the event an accident does occur, you will be notified of the accident. If Pixi Pet Parlour feels it is serious, and the owner is not on-site, Pixi Pet Parlour will seek immediate veterinary care for your pet with the closest vet clinic. This release gives Pixi Pet Parlour full authorization to seek medical treatment from the nearest vet clinic, in the case of any medical emergencies while in the care of Pixi Pet Parlour.
All medical expenses for veterinary care will be covered by the pet's owner upon signing this agreement.
Animal and Staff Safety:
Pixi Pet Parlour has the right to refuse any services at any time. If your pet is too stressed or becomes dangerous to groom, is to aggressive, non cooperative, or has a large infestations of ticks/fleas... Pixi Pet Parlour has the right to refuse grooming services, stop grooming services, or cancel grooming services at any time before, during, or after grooming and client will be charged a grooming fee (for what was done up until that point).
Matted Coats:
Animals with severely matted coats require extra attention. Mats in an animal's coat grow tight, and can ultimately damage and tear the animal's skin, which provides a breeding ground for parasite infestations. Pixi Pet Parlour will not cause serious or undue stress to your pet by dematting. Mats can be very difficult to remove and may require the pet to be shaved. Removing a heavily matted coat can cause nicks, cuts or abrasions due to skin growths trapped in the mats. Heavy matting can also trap moisture and urine near the pet's skin allowing fungus or bacteria to grow, producing skin irritations that existed prior to the grooming process.
After-effects of mat removal procedures can include itchiness, skin redness, self-inflicted irritations or abrasions and failure of the hair to regrow. In some cases, pets may also exhibit brief behavioural changes. Prevention is the best defense by scheduling regular grooming appointments, every 4 to 8 weeks. If your pet needs to be shaved to remove matting, by signing below, you acknowledge that you agree to this procedure, and understand any risks.
Interruptions during Grooming:
For the safety of the animals being groomed, as well as the professional pet groomer, it is asked that you do not interrupt the groomer during grooming. Every effort will be made to insure your pet is groomed as safely as possible, but an excited pet can be dangerous to continue to work on. After dropping your pet off, it is in the best interest of your pet that you do not revisit the salon until you have received a phone call/txt from us that your pet is ready at the estimated designated pick up time. If you have any questions after drop-off, please call/txt us.
Being respectful about your booked appointments:
PLEASE be courteous and provide 48 hour notice for cancellation/reschedule, so a fee can be avoided and your spot maybe able to be filled by another client...
Any late cancellations will occur a fee from $40 plus failure to show up for your Pets appointment will require 100% no show fee and means to rebook you will be required to pay a non refundable $50 deposit to secure new appointments... upon signing your agreement form on your first visit you understand the requested fees must be paid within 4 days/prior to your next appointment....
Satisfaction:
